OLFACTORY DESCRIPTION
The Black Oud, or Aetoxylon, is often considered the youngest of the oud family. However, without putting it in competition with its counterparts, one can only marvel at this singular woody note. Instantly very leathery, the trunk still reveals subtle gourmet tones of nuts and toasted caramel. The animalic note that gradually settles in is most elegant, guaranteeing a tenuous balance between the pyrogenic and woody facets.
